While CEO Steve Reese is meeting with BP in Chicago today, the rest of the Reese Energy Consulting team is organizing data to bid out oil sales and renegotiate gas contracts for a client in Southern Oklahoma. We’re also following the latest news from Platts that reports natural gas production in the SCOOP/STACK hit a new record of 3.53 Bcfd on Monday. But Platts’ analysis suggests the main driver of the recent increase in production is in the SCOOP, specifically in Grady County, where production there already is averaging 610 MMcfd this month. If those numbers continue through the end of February, another record will be broken from last’s month’s 587 MMcfd. Looks like you’re doing just fine, Oklahoma. What do you think?
