For our nation’s military veterans, finding a new sense of purpose once home can be the toughest battle they’ll ever face. America’s oil and gas industry has made it a point to welcome back our men and women with new careers that offer a win-win for everyone. Even as hiring has slowed for Okla. City-based Chesapeake, the company long has recognized the value of employing veterans by creating programs and building partnerships that encourage and support their transition back into the workplace. Patrick Finney, pictured right, is one of those heroes who’ve risen in the ranks to become Chesapeake’s Vice President of Completions in little more than six years. The former Army National Guard officer was honored December 5th as one of 25 Impactful Veterans in Energy. He also sits on the board of the Okla. City Chapter of Folds of Honor. Despite the struggles inherent within our industry, Reese Energy Consulting is proud to salute all those who represent the best part of our business—especially during the most challenging times. We remain Energy Strong.
